📜 The Clipping Protocol

• First-Come, First-Served: Duplicate clips will not get tickets. Only the first person to submit a specific moment gets credit. Check the ledger above first! If you are still not 100% sure feel free to still submit.
• Quality Over Quantity: Low-effort clips will not receive a ticket. 10 seconds of random 'dead air' over and over will not get you anywhere and may result in a ban from submitting. These are manually reviewed.
• The Editor's Choice: The editors and I have the final word. If Submitter A is faster, but Submitter B’s clip is framed better or covers more of the topic, Submitter B will get the 'Used in a Short' ticket bonus.
• High-Def Only: Clips MUST be the highest quality video option that the VOD has available. If it looks like it was filmed on a potato, it won't be used.
• The Archives Are Open: Clips can be from current live streams, older content, the Main YouTube channel, the Archive YouTube channel, or Twitch.
• The Hook & The Payoff: We want stories, funny fails, puns, 'Big Brain' plays, and guide-worthy tips. Basically, anything entertaining. If the clip has a 'Hook' (the setup) and a 'Payoff' (the result), it's much more likely to get used.
• Longer Moments: For moments over 60s, link both clips in the URL box and check the "Multi-Part" box so the editors know to stitch them together.
• Context Needed: If your clip submission only works (or works better) because of a build up to the moment, be sure to put the context in the 'additional comments' section of the form.

🏆 Monthly Raffle & Rewards

Submit clips to earn raffle tickets (1 ticket for an approved submission, 10 tickets if your clip is used in a Short). At the start of each month, we roll three winners live on stream!

The Prize Pool:

• A shirt from the Merch Store of your choice
• $20 Gift Card of your choice
• A Game Key from the Game Vault

How the Draft Works:

• 1st Place: Gets first pick! Choose any one of the three prizes above.
• 2nd Place: Chooses between the 2 remaining prizes.
• 3rd Place: Takes the final remaining prize OR chooses to skip the prize and get a headstart with 10 bonus tickets for next month's raffle!
• Bonus: Just in it for the love of the game? Double it and offer it up for next month's winner instead. For example, choose the $20 to be pushed to next month making it $40 instead! Next months winner is going to love you.

🎥 How to Clip (A Quick Guide)

On Twitch:

1. Click the Clip icon (the clapperboard) at the bottom right of the video player, or press Alt+X (Windows) / Option+X (Mac).
2. A new tab will open. Drag the yellow slider to grab the perfect moment (up to 60 seconds). Ensure you catch the setup and the punchline!
3. Give it a funny title, click Publish, and copy the link to submit.

On YouTube (Main & Archive Channels):

1. Click the Clip icon (the scissors) directly under the video player.
2. Drag the blue slider box to select your timeframe (up to 60 seconds).
3. Add a required title (max 140 characters), click Share Clip, and copy the link to submit.
